I’m Martina Mathisen, a staff and leadership development speaker who helps public service professionals stay calm, confident, and effective in high-pressure, public-facing roles.
For more than a decade, I’ve presented nationally to over 100,000 people. With a background in educational entertainment, I know how to connect with audiences in ways that are engaging, practical, and easy to apply right away.
Today, I work primarily with frontline staff in libraries, fire departments, park districts, senior centers, and other public service organizations. My training programs focus on communication, composure, customer service, and human connection, especially during challenging moments.
While my work is staff-centered, many organizations also bring me in to support leadership teams who want to strengthen communication, empathy, and team dynamics.
